Tim Estes – Executive Chairman & Co-CEO
Tim envisioned a new way computers could learn to understand language and made that vision a reality. He is a leading influencer, advocate and speaker for the use of technology and analytics to achieve social good in industry, government, healthcare and academia. He also cares a ton about protecting digital privacy and would have taught philosophy in another life. Tim lives in Nashville when not hopping all over the world to try to make a difference. He counts among his friends some of the most talented musicians, wellness innovators, and passionate foodies in Nashville.
Brook Hazelton – President & Co-CEO
Brook leads our company’s commercial operations, including scaling the organization, achieving revenue targets, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services, and fostering a strong and healthy culture. Prior to joining Digital Reasoning, Hazelton was President of North & South America at Christie’s, the world’s largest art company, where he led more than 700 employees based in 11 offices across six countries, driving growth and expanding market leadership. Previously, Hazelton acted as the global CEO of Phillips, the leading boutique auction house. Hazelton began his career in the finance sector, working internationally with Goldman Sachs and The Carlyle Group.
Prakash Ramachandran – EVP & Chief Financial Officer
Prakash ensures that the financial resources of the company are used wisely. He has more than 25 years of experience as a finance professional, much of which has been with venture-funded startups. Prior CFO positions, including with Polyera, Nordic Wind Power, Novariant, and Sonicity have seen him assist with multiple rounds of funding, acquisitions, business growth, and international expansion. Prakash qualified as a Chartered Accountant in India (he scored 13th highest in the country) and holds a masters degree in Management from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. When he’s not balancing the books Prakash enjoys traveling with his wife and two children, although he wishes he’d tried bungee jumping before they came into his life as his wife won’t allow him to take the risk!
Randi Schochet – Chief Marketing Officer
Randi drives our brand with a focus on continued industry growth and the execution of new strategies in the financial services and healthcare markets. Randi brings more than 30 years of experience in marketing leadership and financial services innovation, including roles at major financial organizations such as American Express, where she dedicated over two decades to brand positioning and creative marketing. In Randi’s most recent role as the CMO at Cross River Bank in New Jersey, she led brand transformation as they became a fintech bank, raising over $100M from some of the world’s leading venture investors, and becoming a member of the esteemed Forbes Fintech 50. When she’s not building an amazing brand, Randi enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, her dog “Snoops” and bird “Woodstock,” reading a good mystery novel, and hiking.
Uday Kamath – Chief Analytics Officer
Uday has spent more than two decades developing analytics products and combines this experience with learning in statistics, optimization, machine learning, bioinformatics, and biochemistry. Senior roles, including that of Chief Data Scientist for BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, have seen him apply analytics to challenges in compliance, cybersecurity, banking fraud, anti-money laundering, and insurance. Uday has contributed to many journals, conferences, and books, is the author of Mastering Java Machine Learning, and has a Ph.D. in Big Data Machine Learning and Automated Feature Generation. He likes to volunteer, teach math, and is an avowed foodie – balancing his enthusiasm for cooking with long distance running. When he has the time, he indulges his passions for poetry and Indian classical music.
Brandon Carl – Chief Product Officer
Brandon leads the team that turns our mission into reality, collaborating with our customers and partners to shape our Product strategy. He spent the first half of his career working in the capital markets, initially in interest rate derivative sales at Bank of America before moving to global macroeconomics and trend forecasting at Nomura Securities. At Digital Reasoning he has conceived and brought to market Cognition, our acclaimed AI model training app, co-created our Applied Machine Learning team, and led our Applied Research team. Brandon is energized about creating the future and loves working with his talented colleagues to realize new possibilities.
Chris Hasenbein – Senior Vice President of Sales, Americas
Chris leads our Sales organization in the Americas. He comes to Digital Reasoning with two decades of experience driving revenue growth and building successful sales teams. Most recently, he led worldwide sales at Micro Focus for the Risk and Governance Solutions business unit. Prior to this, Chris spent eight years at HP/Hewlett Packard Enterprise where he ran worldwide sales for HPE’s Autonomy Information Management and Governance Software business. Outside of work, Chris loves to play sports, including basketball, softball and snowboarding, but spends most weekends (and more!) supporting his daughter’s vocation for competitive dance.
John Holland – Senior Vice President of Sales, EMEA and APAC
John leads our Sales organization for EMEA and APAC. He works with large enterprises across these regions, including many of the world’s top 10 financial institutions, helping them to adopt our award-winning AI-enabled solutions for the automation key tasks and to uncover transformative insights across vast amounts of human communications data. John has been in the IT industry for over 25 years. He has run the EMEA and APAC operations for a number of companies in the IT Security space and has extensive experience of Software, Professional Services and Managed Service businesses.
Chris Cashwell – Senior Vice President of Healthcare Solutions
Chris oversees a dedicated team focused on deploying AI solutions that solve real-world healthcare challenges. He has more than 20 years of experience leading both large and small healthcare IT companies, and describes himself as a “passionate pioneer” in healthcare IT (HIT), having brought several new products to market. Through previous roles Chris has focused on improving care while improving health systems’ bottom line. He was one of the first HIT leaders to commercialize natural language processing technology with unstructured clinical data to find undocumented diagnosis and quality metrics. Chris lives with his family in Franklin, where his “spare time” is spent trying to keep up three teenage boys and all of their activities, sports, and interests. When he gets the chance, you’ll find Chris watching a local college baseball game.
