Director and partner of one of the UK’s most respected independent wine merchants, Farthinghoe Fine Wine, Julian Chamberlen is a passionate, informed and enthusiastic wine communicator. Through the course of his career he has worked for esteemed wine merchants and labels, including Greens, Veuve Clicquot, Bibendum, Laytons, and Goedhuis. He loves his work, has an extensive knowledge of wine and is constantly tasting to hone his skills. His style is unstuffy, engaging and informative.
Our London event takes place in the lavishly characterful surroundings of The Victorian Bath House, a unique and historic venue located a stone’s throw from Liverpool Street Station. Our sommelier for the evening, Julian Chamberlen, has collaborated with the kitchen create sensational pairings of delectable food and wines, with each plate and glass inspired by grand Victorian summer parties.
