The Surveillance Summit
March 20 - Etc Venues, County Hall, London

Digital Reasoning is proud to continue its sponsorship of 1LoD’s series of events for the compliance and controls sector of investment banks. 1LoD has been very successful in bringing together surveillance leaders at small private events, co-hosted with Digital Reasoning, in New York and London. In March 2019 1LoD will build on this success by launching the leading industry-wide, annual event for the surveillance industry.

The Surveillance Summit 2019 is the first practitioner-led event in what has become one of the most critical and dynamic functions within financial institutions. It brings together surveillance leaders, their direct reports, peers from other areas of the financial institutions, regulators, external experts, and leading technology and service providers. It will become the annual event where the whole community can gather, network and learn as the sector undergoes unprecedented change.

John Holland, our VP for EMEA and APAC, is one of the debate leaders for the e-Communication Surveillance Boardroom presentation

John Holland, our VP for EMEA and APAC, is one of the debate leaders for the e-Communication Surveillance Boardroom presentation. Topics for debate include:

  • What is the optimal target operating model for e-comms surveillance including stakeholders from the business in addition to 1st and 2nd line control professionals?
  • Can the industry agree on a common approach to the surveillance of unapproved comms?
  • What e-comm tools and technologies are being deployed across the industry? Is it common for firms to use more than one technology solution?

The debate will be facilitated by Dr Roger Noon, a coach and independent consultant specialising in risk culture. Leading the debate alongside John Holland will be Christian Alibert, Managing Director, Head of Front Office Surveillance, NatWest Markets, and James Tyrie, Head of Front Office Surveillance, HSBC.
