Digital Reasoning is proud to return as a sponsor of the second annual Hack for Change event in Nashville. The event, which is part of the National Day of Civic Hacking, is one of 120 planned events across 100 communities around the world. Hack for Change aims “to bring together concerned citizens, developers, designers and entrepreneurs to collaborate with local and state governments and nonprofits to build new technology solutions on publicly-available data.” Nashville’s mayor, Karl Dean, signed an executive order to provide a number of government data sets on its website for download so that citizens or citizen groups can create useful applications.
