Digital Reasoning Showcases Cognitive Analytics Test Drive at AWS re:Invent
Defense, Intelligence and Law Enforcement agencies can now conduct intelligence analysis across large amounts of sensitive data on AWS GovCloud

LAS VEGAS – November 11, 2014 – Digital Reasoning, a leader in cognitive computing, today announced support for Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud to streamline access to secure, high-performance analytics infrastructure for government agencies and departments that are seeking valuable insights from sensitive workloads.

“Federal organizations are under pressure to optimize their infrastructure to achieve cost savings while enhancing their support to mission,” said Bob Gourley, Publisher CTOvision and Founding Partner Cognitio Corporation. “This is driving consolidation of data and new approaches to analysis. The combined power of advanced analytics, cognitive computing and the cloud is shaping up to be the most promising approach for delivering results to meet the demands of the public sector.”

“AWS is the leading supplier of cloud services to the U.S. government across varying security levels ranging from public cloud infrastructure for unclassified data to secure private clouds,” said Marten den Haring, senior vice president of products at Digital Reasoning. “As the result of our partnership with AWS, Digital Reasoning public sector customers are able to take advantage of elastic compute resources that process large complex datasets faster and achieve cost savings while addressing their regulatory and compliance requirements.”

Digital Reasoning’s cognitive analytics platform automatically organizes, aggregates, and correlates collected intelligence across HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, GEOINT, and FINTEL for critical initiatives such as Activity-Based Intelligence (ABI) and Object Based Production (OBP). Analysts can now easily search for known facts and discover previously unknown patterns, trends and relationships hidden within large data collections.

“We are pleased that Government customers can access Digital Reasoning’s mission-oriented solutions on AWS,” said Steven Spano, GM for Global Public Sector, AWS. “Digital Reasoning’s analytics infrastructure offers solutions that reduce complexity and accelerate the decision making cycle for organizations dealing with unstructured data in ambiguous environments.”

A “Test Drive” of this solution is now available on the AWS GovCloud platform and is being showcased at the AWS Re:Invent Test Drive Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nev., on Thursday, November 13th.
