Impressive growth attracts new addition to leadership team, spurs opening of UK office
NASHVILLE, Tenn. November 13, 2013 — Digital Reasoning, a leader in cognitive computing, today announced it was named to Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™. Deloitte’s Fast 500 list provides a ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in North America as a way to recognize them for their technological innovation, entrepreneurship and rapid growth. Digital Reasoning also announced the appointment of Abe Danziger as its senior vice president services, and the opening of its first European office in London, United Kingdom.
With the exponential growth and variety of human generated data such as email, voice, instant messaging and social media, organizations have much more data to analyze as they seek to uncover continually evolving operational and reputational threats while exploring opportunities to better serve their customers. Gleaning value from large, disparate sets of information, both structured and unstructured, requires a newer approach to analytics based on machine-learning algorithms. This approach enables organizations not only to discover patterns, but make more accurate predictions over time as it learns from data.
“Digital Reasoning is proud to be recognized by Deloitte as one of the nation’s preeminent emerging companies,” said Tim Estes, Chairman and CEO. “It validates our mission to provide software that learns from human communication and enables people and organizations to understand their most valuable and sensitive data to solve hard problems. The era of Big Data is providing organizations with the opportunity to organize and use their institutional knowledge to reduce risk and maximize profitability. Today, our customers are rapidly moving away from static and brittle keyword search and document classification tools to a more powerful and comprehensive analytics platform that dynamically connects the dots between human language data and transactional data to help them discover and explore knowledge about employees, clients and competitors in real-time.”
As the direct result of the growing demand for its technology, Digital Reasoning recently appointed Abe Danziger to lead its services organization. Mr. Danziger has spent more than 25 years leading services organizations for enterprise business intelligence and database software companies like Informix software, Hyperion, Amdocs and most recently MarkLogic. Mr. Danziger’s experience will help streamline customers ability to deploy and integrate Digital Reasoning’s Synthesys platform within their IT environments and quickly derive valuable insights from their data.
The successful expansion into the financial services sector has also prompted Digital Reasoning to build a stronger regional presence in Europe. Consequently, the company recently opened an office in London’s Canary Wharf financial district.
