Industry Recognized Machine Learning Expert will Drive the Company’s Artificial Intelligence and Analytics Strategy and Execution
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 26, 2017 – Uday Kamath, an experienced data scientist and machine learning expert, joins Digital Reasoning as the company’s chief analytics officer (CAO). In this new role, Kamath will lead a dedicated team focused on driving innovation in data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, while also working closely with product and engineering departments across Digital Reasoning.

Building on Digital Reasoning’s proven success, Kamath will lead the company’s AI and analytics strategy and will help to drive continued AI innovation across the company’s portfolio of industry-leading analytics and insights solutions.

Kamath has more than 20 years of experience architecting and building analytics-based solutions. Most recently, he served as the chief data scientist at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, building machine learning products and solutions for the financial industry, focused on fraud, compliance and cybersecurity. Prior to that, Kamath served as an analytics architect at Norkom Technologies where he managed overall architecture of products and customer implementations. His Ph.D. in Big Data Machine Learning was one of the first in generalized scaling of machine learning algorithms.
